Can Love Be Bought? The Case for Adoption

In a world where consumerism and instant gratification are accepted as normal, there is a growing movement recommending a more thoughtful and compassionate approach to pet ownership. The popular statement, "Adopt, Don't buy" encourages people to consider adoption before purchasing a pet.

Bringing a pet into your home is a joyful moment. You just don't bring a pet, you bring a friend, a partner and a package full of positive things. Love, friends can not be bought. It is something that comes from fate. The whole cycle of breeding business is so brutal and crucial. The greed of making more money by selling animals and birds is a shameful act. Just because those animals can not speak or express their  feelings that does not mean one can do whatever they want to do with these innocent souls. Sometimes people do animal abuse by using the name of breeding. For this breeding business, those poor animals are forced to breed. Whenever these animals are unable to breed anymore, they abandon them. There are a number of cases of people doing this. So, why buy love or friends by abusing them?

Meanwhile, our native animals like cats and dogs are getting abused on the roads. The abuses are inhuman and crucial.There are a number of cases of how they are getting abused continuously. It is just unfair how these poor souls have to deal with this life. They sleep in the streets in winter, they have to search for food in the dustbins, for these sometimes they have to face violence. For basic needs someone has to face violence. How is this normal ? Would you like it if these things happened to you? For them surviving is the biggest challenge. Whereas this should not be a concern to any living being. No one deserves this much even though they have done something bad. Whereas they are just some innocent poor souls which deserve nothing but the purest form of love. We can easily love them and own them. By adopting them we can give them a world they truly deserve.

I’m not saying that you should not buy animals, you can buy them. Just make sure the source you are getting your pet from. There are so many stray animals that need love and you can always be there for them whenever they need you. They need your love and care. They also need a home which you can always provide. 

However, if you can’t adopt them, at least don’t hurt them. Take care of them, love them. Be with them whenever they need you. Because animals are the only living being that will love you till their last breath. Also they will be forever grateful and loyal to you. Lastly, Be kind to every living being.
